Spurs travel to Russia to take on Rubin Kazan in the Europa League at tea-time (5pm KO, Live on ITV4) and look cracking value at 100/30 to maintain their good run of form.
Harry Redknapp’s men only beat their opponents 1-0 in the first leg at White Hart Lane, but they have recorded two solid victories since in the Premiership and are now really finding their stride and playing some good attacking football.
It’s true that they have only one of of their last seven away fixtures in Europe, but Rubin have only won two of their last 14 European games and in their current mood Spurs look to have the edge in what promises to be a hard fought affair.
I feel that If Spurs can grab an early goal then there will be no way back for the home side, and in Rafael van der Vaart and Emmanuel Adabayor they have a striking duo capable of breaking the deadlock.
Spurs actually have the best shooting accuracy in the Europa League this season, hitting the target with 60.6% of shots so far.
If they can maintain that then there is every chance of them finding the back of the net, and in my book there is no way that they should be as big as 100/30.
That looks far too big a price for a team on a roll, and should be snapped up.
For those who like to play in the correct score market I would suggest a small play on Spurs winning 1-0 at the 11/1 generally available.
