Reports coming out of the US are that Golden Boy Amir Khan’s US Promoters have withdrawn their appeal against his controversial loss to Lamont Peterson on 10th December from the IBF.
Khan who was given a career lifeline of a re-match by the WBA only 4 days ago may well now only proceed to regain his WBA belt.
Golden Boy have today issued a press release stating that they are to focus their attentions on Amir’s next fight and have offered Peterson and wolrdwide 50:50 split.
