Marju’s Quest returns to action in the 5.40 at Ludlow today have been given a big chance by the handicapper and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1.

David Dennis’ charge was in terrific form last season when winning four handicaps, with the last of those successes coming off a mark of 120.

He went on to land a seller at Worcster by 8 lengths off an official rating of 125, and was also far from disgarced when finishing in the frame on his final two starts of the campaign last September.

Marju’s Quest is now able to race off just 119 following a break, and that gives him major claims at the weiughts on the pick of his form.

An absence of 188 also shouldn’t be a problem given that he won first time up last year after 168 days on the sidelines, and he goes well for Noel Fehily who has partnered him to his last two victories.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Marju’s Quest (8/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
