Scott Parker is odds-on with Paddy power to take the captain’s armband when England line up against Holland at Wembley tomorrow.
With caretaker England manager Stuart Pearce not likely to reveal his captain until just before the match the Spurs midfielder has been backed into 4/5 having been as big as 5/2.
The weekend favourite, Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard has drifted out from a previous 1/2 to 5/1 with goalkeeper Joe Hart now the second favourite at 11/4. James Milner, despite a ringing endorsement from Pearce, is Paddy Power’s 10/1 outsider.
