Un Anjou is on a dangerous mark now switched back to hurdles in the 3.55 at Carlisle today and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1.
David Dennis’s charge is on a long losing run having not scotred since landing back-to-back handicap chases at Musselburgh and Taunton at the backend of 2014.
The last of those victories came off a mark of 119 and he went on to be placed off 123 and 124.
Un Ajou alos finsihed third in a novices’ handicap hurdle off 119 and is now able to race off just 103.
That is his lowest rating in over four years and gives the nine-year-old major claims at the weights on the pick pof his form.
He also has winning form on soft ground and off bottom weight of 10st 9lb looks to have plenty going for him in the hands of Aidan Coleman.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Un Anjou (8/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
