Voix D’eau has become well-treated and looks worth an each-way wager at 18/1 in the 2.40 at Cheltenham today.
Harry Fry’s eight-year-old landed this contest in 2016 when staying on well to beat Art Mauresque by 1 1/2 lengths off a mark of 145.
He went on to finish third at Haydock off 150 and third at Chepstow off 148.
Voux D’eau also ran well last <May wehn runner-up at Market Rasen off 143 and when a keeping on 3 1/4 length third to Romain De Senam at Stratford three starts back of 145.
It was a fine effort trying to give the progressive and well-weighted winner 6lb and although not so good in two starts since he has dropped in the weighst as a result andis now able to race of 141.
That’s 4lb lower than when l;anding thos two years ago and makes Voix D’eau a bug player at the weights on the pikc pf his form on ground that will suit.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Voix D’eau (16/1 bet365 – BOG)
