Wot A Shot look worth a bet to cash-in on a drop in the weights and land the spoils in the 2.25 at Musselburgh today.
Nicky Richard’s 10-year-old has a good record over course and distance having won once and been placed twice from four starts.
The success came 13 months ago where he ran on strongly to comfortably beat Raised On Grazeon by 3 1/2 lengths off a mark of 100.
He went on to finih third at Perth off 103 and is now able to race off a reduced rating of 95.
That gives Wot As Shot major claims at the eeights and he comes into the contest on the back of two spins which suggest he is building up to something.
With those runs under his belt he should not be spot on to do himself justice and another plus is that he has underfoot conditions to suit.
Richards also has his team in good form at present and this looks a nice opening for Wotashot to gain a fourth career success.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Wot A Shot (4/1 bet365, Betfair, BetVictor, Paddy Power – BOG)
