Ghinia looks to have plenty going for her in the 6.20 at Lingfield today and worth a punt at 7/2.
Pam Sly’s mare was last successful at Windsor in October 2015 when scoring by 1 length off a mark of 78.
She went on to post some solid efforts last season to finish in the frame on three occasions, including at Nottingham when second of nine to Miss Van Gough off 84.
Ghinia is now able to race off a reduced rating of 71 and that makes her well-treated on the pick of her form.
She also comes into the race on the back of two solid efforts tyo finish third and Chepstow and Sandown.
The form of the latter, in which she raced off 1lb higher, has been given a boost as the second home Silver Ghost and fourth placed The Major have both come out and won since.
Ghinia looks as if ready to going in again and this looks less competitive than Sandown and a good opening for her to get back on the scoresheet.
Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Ghinia (7/2 generally available – use BOG firms)
