Henri De Boistron looks pontentially ahead of his mark and is strongly fancied at 9/2 to take advantage to open his account in the 3.10 at Leicseter today.

Tom George’s charge failed to cut any ice in four tuns over hurdles, but always looked the type who would come into his own when sent chasing.

The five-year-old shaped well on his first start over the obstacles when fourth at Sedgefield on seasonal reappearance, and was in the process of running a huge race last time out over course and distance when coming to grief at the fourth last.

He had made smooth headway from off the pace to be disputing the lead, and looked to have plenty of running left in him.

It was an effort which suggested his current mark of 91 could well be on the lenient side, and if getting his jumping together he haas the potential to do some real damage off it.

Henri De Boistron also remains lightly-raced and unexposed, and another plus is that his handler boats a terrific strike rate of 37.5% with his runners at the venue in the past 12 months.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Henri De Boistron (9/2 Sky Bet – BOG)
