Muzhil looks very potentially well-treated on her handicap debut in the 3.30 at Southwell and is of major interest at 9/2.

Clive Brittain’s charge shaped with promise on her sole start as a juvenile when fifth of 10 to Estedaama at Folkestone, and was subsequently pitched in the deep end on her seasonal reappearance at Kempton when finishing a well-beaten last of 14 to Lily’s Angel in a listed contest.

That company was far too hot for her, and she duly put in a much improved effort last time out when dropped back into maiden company at Lingfield and finishing a 51/2 length fourth of 11 to Auction.

The winner went on to follow-up in impressive fashion at Newmarket when making a mockery of her handicap mark to slam Tilstar by 4 1/4 lengths off a rating of 73, and the runner-up has gone on to finish a solid second in a Newbury maiden.

That gives the form a solid look and makes the selection look to have got in lightly in this off a mark of 63.

The daughter of Manduro looks the type who will improve further now going handicapping, and this doesn’t look the strongest iof contests.

There are certainly no classy types like Auction in the line-up, and providing she handles the surface she has to take all the beating in the hands of Chris Catlin.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Muzhil (9/2 bet365, Betfred, Stan James – BOG)
