Crouching Harry runs off a career-low mark in the 4.50 at Warwick today and looks decent each-way value at 12/1.

The gelding had some msart form to his name when trained in Ireland in 2012, finishing third to Our Connor and runner-up to Diakali before opening his account over the obstacles with a game 1/2 length success over Fatcatinthehat at Clonmel.

He was allotted an opening handicap mark of 109 on the back of that success, but when he moved to when he moved to join trainer Annabel King the British assessor decided to up it to 118.

That looked very harsh and the six-year-old has failed to shine in three runs over hurdles for King.

However he has been in pretty decent form on the level, winning twice last year, and is now able to race off just 103.

That is far more realistic and gives Crouching Harry a big shout at the weights on the pick of his form.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Crouching Harry (12/1 Sky Bet, William Hill – BOG)
