Tall Ship looks the type to improve now tackling handicaps and is of major interest at 5/1 in the 3.30 at Windsor today.

Sir Michael Stoute’s charge has has shown promise in three maiden runs, most notably on his latest start when fourth of 11 to Bustopher over a mile at Kempton.

He kept on after being held-up in mid division to be beaten 5 1/2 lengths, and finsihed just 1 2/2 lengths behind the third home Abseil who has since developed into a really useful handicapper ans is now rated 97.

The fifth home Aldborough has also come out and won since and is now rated 76, and that makes Tall Ship look potentially well-treated off an opening mark of 74.

The beautifully bred son of Sea The Stars has also been shaping as if the step up to today’s 1m 2f will suit, and has the potential to improve significantly on his handicap debut.

His handler also boasts a near 37% strike-rate with his runners at the venue in the past 12 months, and with Jimmy Quinnn in the saddle, everything looks in place for a massive run.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Tall Ship (5/1 Coral, Ladbrokes, Sky Bet – BOG)
