Newcastle fancied to hold rampant Man City

The two remaining unbeaten teams in the Premiership – Man City and Newcastle – clash this afternoon (3pm KO) and a share of the draw looks worth a small punt at 9/2.

League leaders City are not surprisingly long odds-on at a top priced 1/3 to continue their fantastic start to this season in front of their home fans.

They have won seven and lost none of their last nine Premier League matches against Newcastle so the stats are clearly in their favour.

However the current Newcastle side has been a revelation this season wining seven and drawing four of their 11 games and looking a well organised outfit.

They are a tough side to beat and have the ability to frustrate City, and in Demba Ba have a player in red-hot form capable of finding the net.

He has scored eight goals in his last six Premier League games and could be worth a small punt at 10/1 to cause an upset and net the opener.

City are no 1/3 shots in my book to win this (they are as hort as 1/4 in places!) and the draw looks value at 9/2 given how ell Newcastle are performing at present.
