Vyta Du Roc has become dangerously well-treated and makes plenty of appeal at 10/1 bet365 Gold Cup Handicap Chase at Sandown today (3.35)

Nicky Henderson charge was a very smart hurdler in 2014/15, finishing a cracking fourth in the Neptune at the Cheltenham Festival and a solid second to subsequent World hurdle winner Thistlecrack in a Grade 1 at Aintree.

Vyta Du Roc went on to land the Grade 2 Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot last season when finding plenty to Minella Rocco by 1/2 a length off an officialn rating of 145.

Minella Rocco went on to land a strong rebewal 4m National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and also finished a cracking second to Sizing John in the Gold Cup at the meeting last month.

Vyta Du Roc looked set for a good season after running a blinder on his second start of this campaign to finish a nine length sixth of 19 to Native River in the Grade 3 Hennessy Gold Cup over 3m 2f at Newbury off a mark of 143 but things haven’t gone to plan in two subsequent outings.

However, as a result he is now able to race of a career rating of 137 and that makes him dangeruusly well-treated on the pick of his form.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Vyta Du Roc (10/1 Boylesports, Paddy Power, William Hill – BOG)
