Zac Brown is strongly fancied at 3/1 to get back to winning ways in the 4.10 at Wolverhampton today now retruend to the Tapeta surface.

David Barron’s gelding is a progressive sprinter who notched his second success when quickening clear to beat Dissent by 3 lengths over 6f at the track back in November.

He then ran well to finish a close up fourth, again over 6f at the track, before notching a very easy 3 1/4 length success over It Must Be Fath at Chelmsford City over 5f.

The four-year-old was then not at his best last time out on the fibresand at Southwell when fourth to Perfact Pastures, but was left poorly placed and is definitely worth another chance now reruend to this surface.

The manner of his Chelmsford success suggested he had plenty more to offer and was a sprinter who needed keeping firmly onside, and although now running off a career-high mark of 99 he has the potential to be better than that.

Zac Brown should also get the strong pace he needs to eb seen at his best, and with Graham Gibbons in the saddle looks the one they all have to beat.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Zac Brown (3/1 Betfred, Boylesports, Ladbrokes, Sky Bet – BOG)
