Binky Blue looks worth a wager at 7/1 in the 5.25 at Wolverhampton today now refitted with the hood and partnered by Shane Kelly for the first time.

Mark Loughnane’s mare is a dual course and distance winner with the last of those succeses coming back in March 2016 off a mark of 65.

Altough yet to get her head in front in 15 subsequent outings she has run some solid races to make the frame, including when beaten just a neck at Lingfield three starts back when sporting the hood.

Binky Blue has also posted some eye-cathcing efforts when poorly placed before running on strongly to be nreats at the finish, including last time out when fifth at Lingfield.

She is currently racing off a mark of 62, 3lb lower than when last victorious, and that gives her every chnace from a handicapping perpsective.

The booking of Shane Kelly to do the steering is also a positive one as he has an overall strike rate of just over 15% for the yard which has produced a £15.14 to a 31 level stake.

He also looks the ideal partner for Binky Blue whose wins have come under string handling and three of her four career wins have come in the hood which now goes back on having been absent for her last two outings.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 3pts win Binky Blue (7/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
