The big FA Cup fifth round tie of the day sees Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates (4pm KO, Live on BT Sport1) and the stats suggest that the home side are worth siding with at 17/10 with BetVictor and Stan James to emerge victorious.

The two sides have met in the FA Cup in 12 previous seasons, with the Gunners coming out on top seven times – including when winning two finals.

Arsene Wenger’s men have also lost have lost just one of their last eight FA Cup matches against Liverpool, winning four and drawing three with the sole defeat coming in the 2001 final.

They are also yet to concede a goal in the competition this season and have kept three clean sheets in their last five FA Cup games.

Those are strong stats, especially given that Liverpool have won just two of their last six away FA Cup games, losing three and drawing one.

The only negative is that Liverpool thrashed Arsenal 5-1 when they met recently in the league at Anfield, but the Gunners are a different propistion on their own patch and look value to gain revenge given their FA Cup pedigree.

Santi Cazorla has netted in both of Arsenal’s games in the competition this season and that makes him look well worth an each-way wager in the first goalscorer market at 11/1 with bet365 and Paddy Power.
