Irish raider worth a wager at Wolves

Irish raider Ihavetonuff is one of the most interesting runners on the card at Wolverhampton today and looks worth chancing at 10/1 on her handicap debut in the 2.55.

Daniel Loughnane’s filly made little impact in three maiden runs in her native country last year but didn’t look devoid of ability when keeping on to finish 8th of 12 to Blue Mimosa at Sligo on her second start.

The daughter of Moss Vale looked the type who would do better at three and was being trained with handicaps in mind.

If that’s the case she could be a different proposition this time round, and her opening mark of 49 is certainly not excessive.

I am sure that she is far better than what she has shown on the track so far, and given her shrewd connections it would be no surprise to see her pull of a gamble when the money is down.

Backing her early doors means that you are obviously hoping that the money does arrive and that today is the day, but at 10/1 it looks a risk worth taking as there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that she is capable of winning races of this nature.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Ihavetonuff (10/1 generally available – use BOG firms)
