Silvala Dance worth a wager at Wolves

Silvala Dance has shaped as if coming to hand and makes plenty of appeal at 8/1 in the 5.30 at Wolverhampton today.

Chris Wall’s mare showed progressive form throughout last season, running well to make the frame on two occasions before opening her account in good style at Yarmouth.

After being held-up off the pace, Silvala Dance made smooth headway to hit the front a furlong from home before running on strongly to score by two lengths off an opening handicap mark of 50.

She was then far from disgraced on her final start last year when fourth of 10 to Chapellerie over 6f at this venue off 56, and caught the eye on seasonal reappearance when seventh of 16 at Nottingham.

Silvala Dance kept on nicely under tender handling after being slowly away to be nearest at the finish and beaten 3 1/4 lengths in a 6f affair, and although only sixth of 11 last time out over 6f at this track blew her chances with a slow start before keeping on under tender handling.

That run should have put her spot on, and she doesn’t look too badly treated off a mark of 54 now stepped back up to 7f.

Although she hasn’t won in five starts over the trip, she has run well to make the frame on a couple of occasions and it should be well within her compass.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts win Silvala Dance (8/1 bet365, Ladbrokes – BOG)
