Well-treated Dancer worth a dabble at 11s on first start for Dalgleish

Gadobout Dancer runs off her lowest handicap mark for nearly four years in the 4.00 at Ayr today and looks worth siding with at 11/1 to take advantage on her first start for trainer Keith Dalgleish.

The mare is on a long losing run, having not scored since landing a 1m 2f contest at Beverley back in September 2012 off a mark of 51 when trained by Tony Coyle.

Before that her previous victory had come off 52 over a mile at Hamilton, and she now gets into this off a basement mark of just 45 having failed to cut any ice in six starts last year for Julie Camacho.

That gives her a big chnace at the weights on the pick of her back form if the move to Dalgleish has freshened her up.

Her new handler is more than capable of placing her to good effect from her current mark, and this looks a very weak contest in which she is entitled to be very competitive off bottom weight of 8st 7lb.

With the trip and ground fine and Tom Eaves in the saddle she makes plenty of each-way appeal at the odds on offer.

Daily Sport recommended bet: 2pts each-way Gadabout Dancer (11/1 bet365, Betfred – BOG)
